Funeral services for Glenda Lois Wynn, age 81, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 3, 2025, in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory with burial to follow in Blue Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. W.L. Currie will officiate.
Mrs. Wynn was born on February 14, 1944, in Rockledge, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Ulis and Mary Darley Wynn. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Westview Baptist. She was a homemaker and a loving mother, grandma, sister and friend. She loved to cook, loved to fish and spend time with her family. When all the family were together, there was sure to be a lot of laughter and singing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Willie Frank Wynn. Mrs. Wynn passed away on Friday, August 29, 2025, at Pinewood Manor in Hawkinsville, Georgia.
She is survived by her son, Ricky Nicklow of Montrose; two daughters, Lisa (David) Collins of Hawkinsville and Glenda (Curtis, Jr.) Butler of Montrose; sisters, Claudia Mullis of Eastman, Donna Stone of Macon and Violet Mills of Cadwell; a brother Wendell Wynn of Macon; 5 grandchildren, Cody Collins, Nicholas Butler, David Nicklow, Justin Collins and Ricky Nicklow; and 4 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Rick Nicklow, Nicholas Butler, Cody Collins, Justin Collins, Ricky Nicklow, and David Nicklow.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 P.M. to 1:45 P.M. on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at the funeral home. The family will also be meeting at the Butler residence, 1217 GA Hwy 278, Montrose, GA 31065.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Wynn family memorial fund c/o Glenda Butler, 1217 GA Hwy 278, Montrose, GA 31065.
Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of the funeral arrangements.
