I attended school with Glendon and was always an admirer of his vivid imagination..
As participant of the DiMolay Organization, Glendon honored me with the title of "DiMolay Sweetheart"..although that was many years ago, I still remember it as a valued experience..
Glendon will always be a fond memory in my thoughts of those former years at Lamar!!

My sincerest condolences.

I met Glen the first night of law school in the fall of 1973. He always went beyond being a good student. He was ever a gentleman. He was quick with a smile and with words of encouragement.

My God's blessings and comfort be with family and friends.

Dear family, may the God of all comfort give you the strength to endure the loss of your loved one, Glendon. (Psalm 83:18) And, may you be comforted by the support of friends and family during this time.

I met Mr. Adams when I was 17 years old, during the days of Meadows and Adams! As a young adult, he quickly became a mentor to me. We discussed the Russian novel Anna Karenina, which at that age I had absolutely no interest in reading. His consistent persuasion finally left me with no other choice than to read it, one of the best novels I have ever read. Only one other person has encouraged to broaden my literary scope me that way, and that is my dad. Mr. Adams would call me Papoose, which means young one, in American Indian. He was forever the teacher and so strong in his beliefs and encouraged me to be the same. His boys were young during those years, he was always so proud of them and sweet Roaslie, well I was convinced she could not only walk on water but part the waves as well. He loved his family so much. I could go on and on with stories and his passion for U of H, however, the message I want his family to receive, is he was a great person and he loved you all so much, and I feel so very blessed to have been given the opportunity to know him. May God's loving arms hold you and give you the comfort that only His Grace can give.

I worked with Glen in the 60's at Southwestern Bell. He had a great grasp of what was right or wrong and felt strongly about it. I only talked to him once after he became a lawyer but I know he would have been a good one. I send my condolences to the family.
