Glenn Fisher Obituary
September 23, 1942 - March 15, 2025
Glenn James Fisher, Jr., 82, of High Point died Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital.
He was born September 23, 1942, in Concord, NC, and was the son of the late Glenn James Fisher, Sr. and Bertha Bost Fisher. He received his Bachelor's degree in Business from East Carolina University and retired as Vice President, Operations with RubberMill.
He was a faithful member of Jamestown United Methodist Church. He enjoyed officiating as a football referee for over 20 years. He had a deep passion for traveling the world, exploring new cultures, and creating unforgettable memories. Glenn was a man known for his generosity and compassion. Throughout his life, he dedicated countless hours to volunteering and giving back to the community.
In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by a grandson, Jeffrey Fisher, Jr.; and a granddaughter, Alicen Whitfield; sister, Patricia Bass; and a brother, Danny Fisher.
Glenn is survived by his wife, Treva Foushee Fisher, whom he married on September 15, 1985; six children, Jeff Fisher (Cissy) , Lisa Thornton (Buddy) , Lori Kiger (Joel), Kevin Fisher (Lisa), Greg Fidler (Beth) and Shaye Morris (Tyler); eight grandchildren, Alex Fisher (fiancée, Ashley), Nicholas Fisher, Sam Fisher, Garrison Thornton, Hailee Shrock (Johnathan), Collin Fidler, Lauren Fidler and Ella Bostic; one great-granddaughter, Emma Shrock; and several nieces; and nephews.
Memorial service celebrating Glenn's life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Jamestown United Methodist Church.
The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Jamestown United Methodist Church, 403 E. Main Street, Jamestown, NC 27282.

I worked with Glenn at Garner Wholesale and was close friends with his daughter Lisa. I am so very sorry for your loss. I always thought a lot of Glenn and enjoyed working with him. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time.

I worked with Glenn at Garner Wholesale in Greenville many years ago. He was very nice and easy to work with. I was so sorry to see his obituary. He was so proud of his children and expressed so much love for Treva. Please accept my sympathy for your loss.
