Glenn Eric Hahn - affectionately known throughout his equator of friends as "Tiny" - a new and optimistic
resident of San Antonio, Texas took three steps towards heaven on December 21, 2023 at 62 years young.
In early November of 2023, Glenn married, espoused and forever joined to his partner, best friend and
soulmate Jennifer Benanti in Savannah, amidst his closest circle of friends.
He was the loving, affirming and protecting father of four daughters - Cody (Jordan) Larimore, Haley
(Jonathan) Woods, Cassandra Nakis, and Madeline (Sean) Wood
The fun loving, Nerf wielding, dinosaur aficionado grandfather of Tyson and Ryder Larimore and Marlow
Woods
Glenn rarely missed an opportunity to remind us he was the poor neglected middle son of Doc & Joyce
Hahn and loving grandson to Carmen & Lilian Hahn and Glenn & Blanche Cordts
Brotha to Mark J. Hahn and brother to Chris Hahn
The constant companion, chauffeur and collector for Lola - their goldendoodle puppy.
Glenn was born in Bethesda, MD, found his way with the family to Park Ridge, Illinois then on to a house
being built in a new subdivision in progress on Franklin St. in Hinsdale. During the early Lane School years,
much time was spent playing army, having dirt-clod wars, playing Little League and just being kids. Each
yard on our block became either a football field, wiffle ball diamond, tag arena, bottle rocket battleground or
just a hang out. Can still hear Doc's whistle calling him home for dinner and the day.
Glenn discovered his corp in high school, threw some pies, got to know Mr. Hake on a frequent and
personal basis and found his true niche as a Groovy Loser, touring back yards in our suburb on weekends,
always at "11". This Red Devil went on to become a Warhawk, an RA, parking garage football phenom, a
Spartan history major and then a teacher, real estate magnate, builder of businesses, husband, father,
coach, baron, "mawage" officiant and friend to all. As the years passed, he enrolled in classes about life
found behind the windshield, boating with friends, gathering with cohorts and accomplices, always returning
the favor by sharing his experiences and with any and all he met or knew. Glenn knew no strangers.
One of Glenn's favorite things in the world was being able to be called a "girl dad." He was a proud father
who loved getting to see his girls grow into successful and kind adults. From playing outside with them as
kids, to attending their sporting events, to walking them down the aisle, and even officiating one of their
weddings, he was always there, cheering them on. Glenn was a dad like no other, and his girls will miss him
dearly.
During the course of our lives as brothers, we somehow drifted apart. It was entirely through grace that we
found our way back together, not only as brothers, but as men, fathers, grandfathers, roommates and best
friends. During this defining moment, Glenn happened upon a woman that brought him true joy, changing
his life forever. THE one. Glenn and Jen danced, dined, talked, took in sites near and far, embraced the
peace found in God, lived, loved, laughed and held one another physically, mentally, emotionally and
spiritually. All of which was conducted on the deepest, most enduring, eloquent and profound level. They
were meant to be. Meant to sustain. Meant to flourish. Meant to endure. And meant to be together forever.

I´m so sad to just hear of Glenn´s passing. He was the soul of the Groovy Loosers (I was the lead singer) and we had such a blast jamming in the Franklin St. garage. My condolences to all of Glenn´s family.
