Glenn “Drac” Harris Sr. was born on July 7, 1962, to Earl Harris Sr. and Johnie Mae Harris-Freeman of Kansas City, KS. Glenn attended KCKS public schools and later obtained his G.E.D.
He loved his Grandpa Zewalk, who taught him everything he knew about driving dump trucks, working on cars, and much more. Glenn loved riding motorcycles, enjoyed a good game of dominoes, and was a die-hard Chiefs fan. Most of all, Glenn cherished spending time with his family and friends.
Glenn was truly one of a kind—a Kansas legend known and loved by everyone. As he would say, “Let that be the reason.” We are going to miss you so much and will forever keep your name alive.
Glenn leaves to cherish his memory four siblings: Cheryl Smith, Earl Harris Jr., Ricardo Harris, and Deangela Hooks. He leaves to mourn his children: Glenedra Harris, Glynis Harris, Glenn Harris Jr. (Little Drac), Jamal Moore, and Daisy Moore. He also leaves behind his beloved wife, Sherri Moore, and three grandchildren: Jayceon Moore, Knowledge Moore, and Zayla Moore.
He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will celebrate his life.
On July 7, 2024, Glenn Sr. and Glenn Jr. both gave their lives to Christ and were baptized at Forest Grove Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents and his father, Earl Harris Sr.
“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. Therefore, there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day—and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing.”— 2 Timothy 4:7–8
