William (Bill) Edward Harris Sr., peacefully passed away on June 8th at the age of 57, surrounded by his loved ones in his cherished home in Warren, MI. Bill's unwavering courage and determination throughout his decade-long battle with cancer exemplified his deep desire to spend precious time with his family and friends.
Although Bill's heart longed for the beaches and waters of his dream home in Florida, he made the selfless decision to return to Michigan to fulfill another dream — being a beloved "Papa" to those who meant the world to him.
Bill is preceded in death by his father, Otha Lee; and his brother, Chris. He leaves behind a legacy of love and strength, forever cherished by the love of his life, Darlene; his sister Debbie Harris; his three children Jenni (Lee) Corwin, Heather (Brandon) Ballard, and Bill (Danielle) Harris Jr.; as well as his eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
