Glenn Elmer Marshall Jr.

Glenn was just a great guy! I only today saw that he had passed when I visited the USS Thomas C Hart (FF1092) website for the first time in several years. Glenn and I were shipmates for three years. He was a good shipmate and an even better friend.

Glenn was my best friend on the Hart, we did everything together. He carried me, more than once, back to the ship after a night of drinking and carousing. He saw me off when the ship pulled into Venice, riding in a cab with me from there to Aviano AFB. We lost contact after I left in Dec 77 but re-connected a few years back. I loved him like a brother because we were that tight. I still have his last voicemail to me. Hope he is at peace now.

It's hard to find the words. I miss Glenn. I miss our phone calls. My deepest condolences to all of Glenn s family and his friends.
