Glenn Marshall Obituary
Glenn was a proud retired U.S. Navy Veteran serving in Desert Storm and traveled the world to protect our country. He belonged to the VFW, enjoyed Jimmy Buffet concerts, NASCAR and sharing stories of his Navy travels with all that knew him.
Cherished son of Janie J. (nee Raskie) Marshall and the late Glenn E. Marshall, Sr. Beloved brother of Jeff (Helane) Marshall, Jacki (Tom) Marshall, and Kim (Kyle) Thorson. Loving uncle of his three nieces; Stefany, Jessica, and Courtney, three nephews, Zachary, Brian, and Hunter as well as a great niece; Emma Jane, and four great nephews, Jackson, Owen, Richard and Waylon.
Relatives and friends are invited to offer condolences to his family on Friday, September 22, 2023 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at T.J. Fluehr Funeral Home at 11010 Knights Road, Philadelphia, PA 19154. Prayer Service 12 noon. Glenn wished to spend eternity among the seas, so his ashes will be spread by the United States Navy at a later date.

Glenn was just a great guy! I only today saw that he had passed when I visited the USS Thomas C Hart (FF1092) website for the first time in several years. Glenn and I were shipmates for three years. He was a good shipmate and an even better friend.

Glenn was my best friend on the Hart, we did everything together. He carried me, more than once, back to the ship after a night of drinking and carousing. He saw me off when the ship pulled into Venice, riding in a cab with me from there to Aviano AFB. We lost contact after I left in Dec 77 but re-connected a few years back. I loved him like a brother because we were that tight. I still have his last voicemail to me. Hope he is at peace now.

It's hard to find the words. I miss Glenn. I miss our phone calls. My deepest condolences to all of Glenn s family and his friends.
