Glenn C. Oury

Glenn Curtis Oury, 90, of Worthington passed away on December 3rd, 2024. Born in Peru, Indiana, he was a beloved brother, husband, father, friend, uncle and grandfather. He is preceded in death by his wife, Eloise Walsh Oury, and brothers Dan and Stanley Oury. He is survived by his sister Phyllis Mast, sister-in-law, Joyce Oury, daughter Glenda (Marc) Kirsch, son Glenn (Laura) Oury, grandchildren Caleb (Hani) Kirsch, Casey Kirsch, Madalynn Oury, and many nieces and nephews.
Glenn was an avid big band music fan and loved going every Monday to see Vaughn Wiester's Famous Jazz Orchestra and directing the band from his seat. He loved history, including WW2 movies and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He enjoyed meeting friends every Friday and enjoyed playing Double Pinochle. He will be laid to rest at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery next to his wife, Eloise, of over 50 years, where the family will have a private ceremony. Any donations in Glenn's honor can be sent to your local Humane Society as Glenn loved dogs, including his dog Splash.
