Roger Allen Dever 79 of Circleville Ohio passed away peacefully on March 21, 2026, at Browns Memorial nursing home following an illness of congestive heart failure. Surrounded by his loved ones. He was born Feb 1, 1947 in Piketon Ohio. Roger was preceded in death by his parents Garrett and Mary (Smith) Dever, son Greg Dever, brother Bob Dever, and favorite chocolate lab Buster. He is survived by his Daughters Karen Nungester of Circleville, Sherry Dever of Piketon, daughter in law Christy Dever of Kentucky, Grandkids Tim Nungester jr (TJ), of Circleville, Tasha Nungester of South Bloomfield, Nikki Overly (Cody Greeno) of Chillicothe, Tony ( Shelby) Overly of Circleville, Markayla Clayton of Arizona, Lukas Dever and Blake Dever both of Kentucky, and Great Grandson Noah Nungester of Patton, Pennsylvania. Sisters Carolyn Stephenson of Morgantown, Marilyn Patton of Piketon. Numerous nephews and nieces and friends who he cherished. Roger was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed Camping, fishing, hunting, and Mushroom hunting. Loved NASCAR and Ohio State Buckeyes. Was a member of Local Union #423. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
