Stanley "Glenn" Stewart, age 72, husband of Sharon (Crawley) Stewart, of Harrodsburg KY died Monday, September 15, 2025 at home in Harrodsburg. Born July 28, 1953 in Frankfort, KY to Reva Mae (Harley) Stewart and the late William "Boo" Stanley and he was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and was an excavator operator for many years. Glenn loved fishing, "playing in the dirt", and singing in the choir.
He is survived by his wife: Sharon Stewart and six daughters: Ginger (Steve) Prewitt, Stephanie (Chad) Boyd, Glenda (Michael) Huffman, Alli Stewart, Andi Stewart and Leia Sallee; his mother Reva Mae Stewart; one brother, Steve (Patti) Stewart; two sisters, Melinda Rose Stewart and Melissa Mae (Mike) Roby; eight grandchildren; Jackson, Logan & Elaina Prewitt, Cali, Campbell & Carter Boyd, Mason Huffman and Brantley Reed; several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his daughters, Elizabeth Mae and Jennifer Lynn Bryan; his father William Stanley Stewart.
The funeral will be 1pm on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at Bethel Baptist Church, 5581 Bohon Rd, Harrodsburg KY, 40330 with Stephen Brogli and John McDaniel officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Baptist church cemetery. Visitation will be at Bethel Baptist from 10am-1pm Thursday, September 18, 2025.
Pallbearers: Jack Hankla, Phillip Lozier, Gary Walton, Travis Sparrow, Brian Stewart and Leigh Karr. Honorary pallbearers: Ricky Yonts, Charles Scott Pinkston, Chris Rawlings, David Crawley and all grandchildren.
Memorials have been suggested to Bethel Baptist Church, 5581 Bohon Rd, Harrodsburg KY, 40330.
