Glenn Troyer

Glenn Troyer, aged 90, of Grand Rapids, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, October 12, 2025. Glenn proudly served in the U.S. Army and was the housekeeping manager at Blodgett Hospital for many years. He loved playing pool and interacting with his friends at Breton Ridge. His wife, June, preceded him in death, along with his parents, Clarence and Gladys Troyer and brother, Roland J. Troyer. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Karen (Bruce) Ladman and Kurt Troyer; two grandchildren, Micah Ladman and Noah Ladman; brothers-in-law, Jim (Lavonna) Butler, and John (Lois) Butler. The family will greet visitors on Sunday, October 19, from 2 to 4 pm at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th St. SE; and on Monday, October 20, from 12 noon to 1 pm at Good News Baptist Church. The funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Monday, October 20, at Good News Baptist Church, 6830 Eastern Ave. SE, with Rev. Brian Cederquist officiating. Interment will be in Bowne Center Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to David's House.
