Glenn J. Walter (Donkey) born on July 20, 1939 in Cincinnati Ohio passed away at home on the morning of October 12, 2025 at 6:10AM as his daughter lay next to his side, So peaceful; whispering sweet memories of past praying family angels to guide him home to God. A very beautiful & precious time in my life I will forever hold dear. I could feel wings of love & I knew it was time for him to leave me& I said "I love you daddy. I'll see you in my dreams".
Glenn was preceded in death by his loving wife - Carol Ann Walter (Anniversary 65 years Nov.5), Loving parents - Jake & Collette Walter, little brother - Garry Walter, Father in law & Mother in law - Joseph Quitter & Norrie Quitter, Brother in law & Sister in law - Joe & Ruby Quitter, Brother in law - Don Koehler
Glenn leaves behind his loving daughter & Son in law which he resided with for the last 9 years - Dawn Marie Hoskins & Robert Dallas Hoskins, Grandchildren Keegan (Florida), Jacob (Falmouth), Sister & Brother in law - Collette & Bud Bracken, Sister & Brother in law - Mary Jo & David Schultz, Sister in law - Diana Walter, Sister in law & Brother in law - Arlene & Doc Berkenhauer, Sister in law & Brother in law - Cheryl & Marty Roginski, many nieces and nephews.
Glenn also leaves behind some very special best friends that have been dear to his heart since the beginning of my lifetime & before. Rob & I cherish these friendships now & forever Connie, Barb, Cindy, Tommy, Tony, Marianne, Denny & Margie. God bless!
Dad's in heaven with his other besties! Momma (She's in charge of course), Dave Bobby, George, Kathy & Bobby E. We can only imagine!
To all the Pendleton golfing & card buddies! Dad loved you all very much & we talked many hours about all the good times that were. Golf Trips that he loved with everyone! He missed each & every one of you greatly but he so wanted to be remembered the way you all seen him last.
Have a beer & a cigar for the "Donkey".
The family would like to give a special Thank you to the girls at Vitas Hospice Cincinnati (Sam, Sharon, Leannette, & Susan) your gift of love & compassion for people is extraordinary. You surrounded daddy, Rob & I with angel wings of comfort & kindness. Always remember what beautiful women you are & what your love does for so many people in need. Memorial Visitation Saturday, November 8, 2025, 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Muehlenkamp- Erschell Funeral Home, 427 South Ft. Thomas Ave., Ft. Thomas, KY 41075. A Memorial Service will follow at 3:00 pm at the funeral home.
