Gloria Modena Holladay Boggs, 87, wife of the late James Franklin Boggs, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2025. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend.

Born on February 18, 1938, in Pickens County, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Harrison Reece Holladay and Addie Lee Nimmons Holladay.

Gloria was known for her nurturing spirit and unwavering commitment to her loved ones. She was a devoted mother having raised three sons. She dedicated many years of her life working at daycare, and was a teacher for the children's classes at her church.

Her faith was a cornerstone of her life. She was actively involved in her church Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, and has been a member there since she was 11 years old.

Gloria is survived by her two sons James Michael Boggs (Lynn) of High Point, NC, and Freddie Leon Boggs (Theresa) of Pickens, SC; her ten grandchildren Christopher Boggs (Brittnee) of Liberty; Bethany Reynolds (Jamie) of Six Mile; Joshua Boggs (Jessica) of Greer; Emily Willis of Oviedo, FL; Bridget Morosan (Sasha) of Central; Jason Boggs; Betsy Boggs (Sheridan) of Philadelphia, PA; Katherine Boggs of Taylors; and Kelly Boggs of Nashville, TN; her 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her loving husband of over 69 years, and her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved son Donald Gregory Boggs; her grandson Benjamin Boggs; and her two brothers Douglas Holladay and Harry Holladay.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church at 3041 Six Mile Hwy., Central, SC 29630.

A visitation in honor of Gloria will be held Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM, at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, 108 Cross Creek Road, Central, SC 29630.

A private burial will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
