Gloria Bonilla Perez, 96, of Union, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her dedicated and loving family on March 11, 2026.
Private funeral services have been entrusted to Las Rosas Bannworth Funeral Home, 1055 E. Jersey Street, Elizabeth, NJ 07201.
Born in Puebla, Mexico, Gloria was the cherished daughter of the late Prospero Bonilla and Cleotilde Perez. She carried with her the warmth, traditions, and strength of her heritage throughout her life, touching the hearts of all who knew her.
Gloria was a woman of deep love and devotion to her family, and her home was always a place of comfort, kindness, and togetherness.She was a devoted and loving mother to Maria Pierre-Philippe and Javier Becerril Bonilla, who were the pride and joy of her life. Gloria’s greatest happiness came from caring for her family and watching them grow and flourish.
She is lovingly survived by her son Javier; her grandchildren Keiffer Pierre-Philippe, Jorge, Israel, Sarah, Dulce María, and Gloria; as well as many other beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her niece Lorena and her nephews Carlos and Rodolfo, who will cherish her memory.Gloria will be remembered for her strength, compassion, and unwavering dedication to her family. Her legacy of love, resilience, and faith will live on through the many lives she touched.

Nacida en Puebla, México, Gloria fue la querida hija de los difuntos Prospero Bonilla y Cleotilde Perez. A lo largo de su vida llevó consigo la calidez, las tradiciones y la fortaleza de su herencia, tocando los corazones de todos los que la conocieron. Gloria fue una mujer de profundo amor y devoción por su familia, y su hogar siempre fue un lugar de consuelo, bondad y unión.
Fue una madre devota y amorosa de Maria Pierre-Philippe y Javier Becerril Bonilla, quienes fueron el orgullo y la alegría de su vida. La mayor felicidad de Gloria era cuidar de su familia y verlos crecer y prosperar.
