Gloria Bridgland Obituary

Published by Legacy on Jan. 1, 2026.
Gloria Bridgland (nee Noor ) 78 of Hopkins, passed away peacefully at home 12/28/25 after a long illness . She is survived by her husband of nearly 52 years Leroy, daughter Maggie, son Darwin (Kim) , granddaughter Ashlee (Dan)Ketterer grandson Jack ( Regan) Hart and great grandson Stratton Hart. She is also survived by all her brothers, except two, and many nieces and nephews.

Gloria was born April 14th 1947 to Henry and Adella, she is the 10th of 15 children and was the last living Noor girl.

She married Leroy Bridgland April 6th 1974 and raised their children in Benson until they moved to the cities.

Gloria had an at home daycare for many years before finishing her career in housekeeping. She loved crafting and doting on her grandchildren. She was at cheer competitions to watch Ashlee and would rarely miss a baseball or football game to watch Jack. Later in life she loved to decorate their yard for Halloween and Christmas. She loved seeing the kids faces adoring the decorations as well hand out hand made candy bags to the kids each year. Every year was a new decoration.

Gloria battled breast cancer in 2001, and most recently multiple myeloma. With each new illness she would fight back until her body just could not fight anymore. The tough decision was made and Gloria went into hospice care where she passed 2 days later. She will be greatly missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing her. She has been reunited with her family that has gone before her and she is at peace and no longer in pain.

Gloria's wish was to not have a funeral or memorial service. The family will have a private burial for her per her final wishes. Please respect her wishes. Condolences may be sent to family if you choose to do so. Thank you and God Bless.
