John Bridgland Obituary
John J. Bridgland, 65, of Snowridge Circle, Zion Grove, died Friday, Sept. 29, 2023, in Leigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest.
He was born in Kingston, the son of the late James and Kathleen Donnelly Bridgland.
He graduated from Pittston High School and Wilkes-Barre Vo Tech. John was employed as a printer for Qua Graphic, retiring in 2018. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and belonged to a Eight Acres Rod & Gun Club.
Surviving are his sisters, Mary Jones and her husband, Robert, Hudson; Catherine Markert and her partner, Barry Anderson, Kingston; James Bridgland and his wife, Michelle, Avoca; and Patricia Haupt and her husband, Barry, Hilldale; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends and relatives may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, at Hugh B. Hughes & Son Inc., Funeral Home, 1044 Wyoming Ave., Forty Fort.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
