Gloria Jean Bunce

HERKIMER – Gloria Jean Bunce, age 93, of Herkimer, passed away, on Monday, February 6, 2023.
She was born on March 5, 1929, in Little Falls New York, the daughter of Jefferson and Viola (Beauvais) McKenney. She was educated at St. Francis de Sales School, in Herkimer. She moved to Herkimer in the 1930's. Gloria married Richard Bunce, on October 25, 1947, at St. Francis de Sales Church Rectory, in Herkimer, New York.
Surviving family members include her two sons, Thomas Bunce and his wife, Nancy, of Texas and David R. Bunce and his wife, Teresa, of Herkimer; two daughters, Deborah Sheppard and her husband, Rick, of New Hampshire and Barbara Rose and her husband, Bernie, of Florida; her beloved grandchildren, Kristen Sheppard, Dr. Jeannie Marie Leoutsakos, Allison Bunce, David Bunce, Jason Bunce and Wesley Bunce; great-grandchildren, Richard and Nicholas Leoutsakos and Gavin Bunce; and a very special nephew, Kevin McKinney and his wife, Kathy. In addition, she leaves her Goddaughter, Barbara Wainwright; her longtime friends, Rosie Greshceck and Pam and Jeff Farrell; and her dear canine companion, her dog, Odie.
She is predeceased by her husband, Richard; and her beloved granddaughter, Julia Bunce.
