Gloria had the biggest heart, she held unsurpassed love for her family and animals. Nobody celebrated holidays and Christmas better than she, with her child-like wide eyed wonder season after season. She truly was my "other mother" and her unconditional love was unmatched. My deepest sympathies to Joe, Scott, Jill, Carla, Judy and families. Thank you Glo for being such an amazing mom and grandmother, Heaven has a glorious Angel now and those she loved have a special guardian Angel. We love you forever, Deborah Codute and son, Dustin Gatten.

Mrs Codute was like a second mom to me. I grew up next door to the Codute“s on Norborne Street in Dearborn Heights, MI.
My memories of her include all the times she invited us over for pool parties and times she let me stay over when my mom was at the hospital with my sister. I can see her in my minds eye, sitting on the patio with her ice tea and sunglasses, always looking so elegant. I can never forget how Jill and I smuggled two tiny kittens, their Princess and our Fluffy, into our homes and how after initial objections, they became treasured family members. Mystery Date and other board games played in the basement and so many moments of fun and happiness.
My heart hurts for Mr Codute, Jill, Scott and their families during this time. I hope they know their mom gave security and a safe place to a little girl during hard times and they will always be the family of my heart.
With Much Love,
Michele

We wish to share our sympathies for our dear friend Gloria Codute. Gloria was a wonderful friend for almost 60 years. Gloria was a so organized in planning exciting trips, parties, and her cooking was fantastic. She will be greatly missed by her husband Joe and children Scott Codute and Jill Brooks, and her many family and friends, including us. We will see you again in Heaven Gloria.
