Gloria M. Cunningham, 92, was born to Pauline (Perkins) and William Eaton on April 1, 1933. She died with her family by her side at Parkland Medical Center on December 28, 2025.
She was born in Seabrook and graduated from Newburyport High School. She then got a job waitressing at Howard Johnson’s restaurant and met the man she would marry in October of 1953. They went on to have 4 children and moved to Atkinson, NH, in 1967. Gloria stayed at home to raise her children and then went on to work at The 1686 House and The Village Square Inn. She took a class on cake decorating and was very good at it. Everyone looked forward to her birthday cakes. She retired from waitressing to help take care of her grandchildren. She was happiest when cradling a grandbaby.
She is survived by her son, Allan and his wife Jacquline of Magden, Switzerland, daughter Laurie Mahany and her husband Michael of Chester, NH, daughter Pamela Donovan and her husband Paul of Atkinson, NH. She leaves behind six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Allan of 56 years, daughter Debra Eileen and grandson Justin Mahany
