Gloria C Drury nee Doege age 87 of Corpus Christi Texas peacefully passed on Saturday August 9, 2025 surrounded by her family in Fredericksburg Texas. She was born in New Berlin Tx on May 25, 1938 beloved daughter of Walter H Doege and Selma Sommers. Gloria graduated from Big Lake High School and worked as a Secretary at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio Texas. After raising children, she returned back to finish college and complete her medical records degree. She worked at Spohn Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas till she retired at the age of 70. She enjoyed her family gatherings and Teaching Sunday School, Dancing, Gardening and Baking goodies for her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, Gloria is survived by her loving husband of 32 years Franklin Drury, Brother Robert L Doege, Daughters Linda Seip and Husband David ,Cheryl Luna and Husband Robert Grandsons Shea Seip and wife Rebekah, Seth Seip, Bryan Ibarra , Robert Luna, Grand daughters: Santana Luna, Emily Luna, She was blessed with 3 Great Grandchildren Kyle Seip, Katrina Luna, and Coraline Bolton, and many loving Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents and brother Melvin Doege, Graveside Services and Internment will be on Saturday August 23rd at 10 A.M. in the Elm Creek Cemetery in New Berlin TX In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Methodist Hill Country Hospice for their wonderful loving care. Expressions of sympathy may be sent at www.schaetter.com Funeral arrangements under the direction of the Schaetter Funeral Home
