Gloria Frieda Foiles, 86, of Cadott, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on November 30, 2025 at the Chippewa Manor in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin.
Gloria was born on February 10, 1939, to Frank and Ada (Klatt) Grimm in Cadott, Wisconsin. Gloria was raised in the Chippewa County Town of Delmar and graduated from Cadott High School in 1957. She married Donald Foiles on October 19, 1957, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Boyd, Wisconsin. After marriage they had a short stay in California before Don was stationed at Ladd AFB in Alaska. The newlyweds spent their first two years there. In 1959 they moved back to Wisconsin and purchased a dairy farm in the Town of Goetz. They retired from farming in 1998. Gloria then worked for Courtesy Corporation (McDonald's) in Chippewa Falls for a few years. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Cadott.
Gloria is survived by her children, Robert Foiles of Cadott, Sue (Mark) Cance of Chippewa Falls, Frank (Sue) Foiles of Cadott and Julie Darby of Eau Claire. 6 grandchildren: Brianne (Dan) Larson, Emily Kassera, Jason (Renee) Cance, Kyle (Rebecca) Cance, Derek Foiles, Brent (Allie) Foiles and 7 great grandchildren and One on the way and a great great granddaughter. She is also survived by her sisters Minnie Mc Connell and Florence Marks.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald, daughter Jayne, brother Dave Grimm, sister in law Eloise Foiles, brother in laws Dallas (Lorraine) Foiles, Ray McConnell and Jim Marks.
Funeral Services for Gloria will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 8, 2025, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Cadott, WI with Pastor Robert Hopkins officiating. Interment will be in Countryside Union Cemetery, Town of Goetz following the service. A visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the time of services Monday morning at the church.
The family would like to thank the entire staff of the Chippewa Manor and Lily Hospice for their compassion and excellent care.
