Her Legacy Gloria Bernadine Glover, 92, lifelong Resident of Fowlerville, passed away January 13, 2024. She was born on January 15, 1931, in Fowlerville Michigan to Lloyd Grill and Ruth (Harris) Grill. At the age of 21, Gloria married the love of her life, Irwin Glover, on July 25, 1952, in Fowlerville, Michigan. She will be remembered as long time and dedicated member of the First United Methodist Church in Fowlerville. Gloria was a loving mother/grandmother who was very involved with her children and grandchildren volunteering at school and chaperoning fieldtrips. Gloria spent 35 years as the owner of Woodshire Place and loved helping brides plan their perfect wedding reception. She was an avid reader, loved to bake and was famous for her pies. Gloria loved spending time at the cottage on Drummond Island and making memories with her family. Gloria spent over 60 years with a group of local women called, "Friends in Focus" sharing her love and knowledge with the group. Gloria loved to travel with her husband, Irwin to the Panhandle of Florida.
Her Family Gloria will be greatly missed by her children, Teresa (Bill) Plummer, Carole (Rich) Milster, Tim (Ann) Glover; grandchildren Jenna (Justin Shiba) Plummer, Meghan Plummer, Trevor Plummer, Christa (Dave) Sprague, Marc (Ashley) Milster, Colleen Milster, Matthew (Ashley) Glover, Brian (Emily) Glover; great grandchildren, Jackson Plummer, Reid Milster, Ella Glover, Cody Glover. She is preceded in death by her husband, Irwin Glover, and parents, Lloyd and Ruth Grill.
Her Farewell Gloria's family and friends will gather from 3:00-7:00PM, Monday, January 22, 2024 at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Howell Memorial Chapel. A Community Farewell Service will be Tuesday, January 24, 2024 at 11:00AM at First United Methodist Church in Fowlerville, Michigan (gathering at 10:00AM). Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Fowlerville. Pastor Scott Herald will serve as Celebrant. Memorial contributions are suggested to The Family Impact Center in Fowlerville or the Fowlerville District Library (for the Children's Outdoor area).
