Gloria Dean Grove

Gloria Dean Grove, 91, of Harpers Ferry, WV, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025, at the Hospice of the Panhandle, in Kearneysville, WV.

Born on August 28, 1934, in Harpers Ferry, WV, she was the daughter of the late Herb Franklin Cogle and Grace Bussard. She was a member of Silver Grove United Methodist Church.

Sundays were Gloria's favorite days. It was a day for good food and great family.

She is survived by two daughters, Diane Neidringhaus of Frederick, MD, Ronda Virts of Harpers Ferry, WV; two sons, Floyd Grove, JR. and companion, Linda of Harpers Ferry, WV, Victor Grove of Harpers Ferry, WV; eight grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many who called her "Granny".

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 30 years, Floyd, Sr.; one daughter, Charlene Grove; one son, Jack Grove, Sr.; one grandson, Kyle Wayne Grove; four sisters, Shirley Long, Gladys Gifft, Frances Price, infant Dorothy Cogle; five brothers, Richard Cogle, Ralph Cogle, Russell Cogle, Frank Cogle, and Luther Cogle.

Services will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 11:00 A.M., at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV, with Pastor Howard Martin officiating.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., at the funeral home.
