Mrs. Jordan-Herring was born in Canon, GA, on May 27, 1953, daughter of the late Carl Segars and the late Annie Vaughn Spears. She was an LPN having worked at Brown Memorial Convalescent Center in Royston, GA and was a member of Bowman Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Herring.
Survivors include her son, Father Jeffery Jordan, OFM of Boston, MA; daughter, Melanie Pritchett (Lamar) of Maysville, GA; brother, Eldridge Segars of Canon, GA; grandchildren, Jordan Pritchett, and Bethany Owensby (Zach); and great-grandchildren, Brysen, Bransen, and Zayne.
Funeral services for Mrs. Jordan-Herring will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, November 22, 2025, with Rev. Barry Bray officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens-South.
The family will receive friends at Pruitt Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday evening. During other times, the family will be at their respective homes.
Pruitt Funeral Home in Royston, GA is in charge of arrangements.
