Gloria Jean Kramer passed away peacefully on November 28, 2023. She was born on October 9, 1943, in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Robert and Georgine Carlson. Gloria was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and Gamma.
Known for her sweet spirit and kind nature, Gloria's presence was a source of comfort and inspiration for all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She possessed an infectious warmth that touched the hearts of many. Her genuine concern for others and willingness to lend a helping hand were simply unmatched.
Throughout her life, Gloria found great joy in helping others. From her early days as a childcare provider to her later employment with WIC, she dedicated herself to making a positive impact on the lives of those around her.
Gloria and her husband, Stanley Kramer, were married on May 26, 1962. They moved to Gilmer, Texas in 1974 and raised two sons and two daughters. Gloria will be missed by her husband Stan; son Doug Kramer, and wife Jan; daughter Shari Borden, and husband Joe; son Troy Kramer, and wife Cathy; and daughter Mandy Pomykal, and husband Curtis. Other family members that will miss her include her 13 grandkids, brother Paul Carlson, and wife Dana; brother Robert Carlson, and wife Cathy; and brother Craig Carlson, and wife Novy.
In honor of Mrs. Kramer there will be a visitation at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer, Tuesday December 5, 2023, starting at 1:00pm. Following the visitation, a graveside service will take place at Sunset Memorial Park in Gilmer, Texas at 2:00 pm with Reverend Paul Carlson and Joe Borden officiating.
