Gloria Long Obituary

Gloria was a strong and remarkable woman who had been through so much in her life. Gloria was a breast cancer survivor, she worked as a CNA at Radford Health & Rehab, she also did private in-home health care as she loved helping and caring for the elderly. Gloria enjoyed camping with her family, spoiling her grandkids and cooking. Gloria also enjoyed collecting frogs and watching her hummingbirds. She enjoyed and looked forward to her monthly cousin luncheons. Gloria had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. She showed everyone, unconditional love. Gloria had the most infectious laughter that will be forever echoed, in all our hearts.
Services will be held at Shiloh Lutheran Church located at 5218 Longshop Road Blacksburg VA 24060 on November 19th, 2022. Celebration Of Life/Visitation from 12 to 2 then service immediately following with Pastor Martin Paulson. In lieu of flowers, donations to McCoy Funeral Home.

I hate to hear that Gloria passed away. I´ve known Gloria since I was 14. She did always have an infectious smile! Such a sweet lady! My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I worked with Gloria at Radford Nursing.She was a wonderful person and loved the residents. Her laugh would fill the halls.She will be missed.
