For some years, Gloria was custodian at San Saba High School. When I began teaching there, I already knew her from church. She was a hard worker in both places. I loved seeing her daily at school, where she arrived so early and had the doors unlocked when I arrived at 7:00 am. When she would come in my classroom, we enjoyed a short visit, often with words of faith and prayer requests. We prayed for each others' families, and I loved her sweet, thoughtful nature. Once, when I had lost my mother's wedding ring, I called her and she put out the word at school so others would be on the lookout. Thankfully, it was found in the school parking lot. Gloria was a beautiful, godly woman, and I am so thankful to have known her. She must have a crown with many jewels now in heaven, but I pray for the family she leaves behind. May God comfort, as only He can, for Gloria will be missed so much here on earth. With my love and prayers~. Tracey Thomas
