Gloria J. Recupero

Gloria J. Recupero, age 77, of Parma Heights, Ohio passed away on November 11, 2025.

She is the cherished mother to Patrick Recupero. A strong and compassionate woman, Gloria was raised on a working farm in Medina County, where the values of hard work, family, and resilience shaped her character. The daughter of a World War II veteran and a devoted war bride grew up surrounded by several brothers and sisters - with her brother Eric always holding a special place in her heart.

In 1970, Gloria began her lifelong calling as a nurse, dedicating 42 years to caring for others with empathy, skill, and quiet strength. That same year, she married the love of her life, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and shared devotion. In 1976, she became a proud and loving mother to Patrick, whom she supported through every milestone - even walking him to karate practice until he earned his black belt. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her family to all living things; she had a deep affection for animals, especially her beloved pure bred, white German Shepard Natasha. She found joy and peace in life's adventures, from her early days in Medina County to cherished memories in Alaska, with fond memories with Gloria, her husband and son, cruising and see the glaciers.

Her kindness, strength, and love will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held in honor of Gloria on November 17, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Busch Funeral Home, 7501 Ridge Road, Parma, Ohio 44129.
