Gloria Ancira Rodriguez went to be with the Lord on August 29, 2022, at the age of 58.
Gloria was born on March 28, 1964, in San Antonio Texas, to the late Juan and Olga Ancira. Gloria was an incredibly loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and partner.
Gloria truly enjoyed the simple pleasures in life; great conversation, making someone smile, feeling hopeful for the future of those she knew. She inspired those around her to be better individuals. Her capacity for generosity knew no bounds. She was someone who would help anyone in need with support, encouragement, and guidance. Gloria loved when family and friends would get together, those times exists now in our memories and will be cherish forever.
Whether people knew her for a minute or a lifetime, her presence left an impact on every person she met. Until we meet again, may she rest in eternal paradise. We love you "all the way to the moon".
She is preceded in death by her parents Juan and Olga Ancira, sisters Alma, Janie, Guadalupe, Adelina, and brothers Robert, Joe, Jesse, and Ezekiel.
She is survived by her partner Dan Robles, children Lydia (Quincy), Richard (Vincent), Michelle, granddaughters Layla and Laylani, brother Johnny (Paula), and many wonderful nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2022, at Castillo Funeral Home from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:00 pm. A Chapel Service will be held on Monday, September 12, 2022, in the Castillo Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 am with interment to follow at San Jose Burial Park.
