Gloria Jean "Happy" Rotramel of Indianapolis, born on Jan. 22, 1943, in San Diego, California, passed from this earth to her heavenly home on Feb. 9, 2026, at the age of 83 with her devoted husband by her side. In February 1966, she realized her need to place her faith in Jesus for forgiveness of her sins and that faith of 60 years has now become sight.
Gloria's primary devotion was as a wife, mother, and grandmother (Happy). She also worked as an administrative assistant with Bayer once her children were grown. She was a volunteer and past board member with RETA pregnancy clinic and family resources in Elkhart, Indiana. As an avid tennis player with USTA, she encouraged all her grandchildren to learn how to play tennis. While in Elkhart she was an active member of First Baptist Church and later Nappanee Missionary Church. More recently, she was a member of Pennington Park Church.
Gloria is survived by her husband of 62 years, Jerry Rotramel; her children, Sherry (John) Bouquet, Debra (Ken) Fleetwood and Kevin (Crystal) Rotramel; siblings, Brenda Kosmak, Larry (Jackie) Simon, Vickie Brady and Dale Simon; grandchildren, Shelby (Roger) Gelwicks, Sophie (Ryan) Konop, Andre (Kierstin) Bouquet, Austin (Krysta) Bouquet, Brandon (Kristina) Bouquet, Gabrielle (Gabe) Herman, Ava Markoff and Ruby Rotramel; and great-grandchildren, Luke and Zoe Gelwicks, Rocky Konop and Marcel Bouquet.
A visitation will be held at Pennington Park Church, 13222 126th St., Fishers, IN 46037, on Feb. 18, from 10 to 11 a.m. Following the visitation, a Celebration of Life will take place at the same location, beginning at 11 a.m.
The final resting place will be at the Independent Order of Odd Fellows Cemetery, 533 E. State Road 58, Carlisle.
