Gloria Savet

Gloria Savet, age 88, passed away on June 3, 2023, after a long illness.

Gloria was born on November 26, 1934, to Emilia and Pete Cahinhinan in New York City.

In 1953, Gloria met Armando Savet in New York City, and they married in October. 1, 1955.
They lived in the Washington D.C. area until 2007 before moving to Mt. Pleasant, South
Carolina. She and Armando recently moved to Alexandria, Virginia where she resided until her
death. Gloria is survived by her beloved husband Armando, and devoted daughters Vicky Ingalls
(Chris), Tina Foster, Suzanne Savet (Holger), and granddaughter Emily Ingalls.

Gloria loved children and spent many years working in Early Childhood Education. In
retirement, she enjoyed traveling, especially to Hawaii, the beach, watching her morning shows,
tennis, and golf, and reading her favorite newspapers and books.

The viewing will be on Friday, June 16 at 10:00 am and Catholic Mass will be held at Most Holy
Rosary Church, in The St. Joseph’s Center, 11704 Duley Station Road, Upper Marlboro, MD
20772. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 8000 Woodyard Road, Clinton, MD
20735. The Repast will be at Mama Stella’s Ristorante Italiano, 7918 Old Branch Avenue,
Clinton, MD 20735.
