Gloria Hailey Schollaert

Gloria Hailey Schollaert, age 14 of Knoxville, TN, passed away on August 20, 2023 after a lifelong battle with epidermolysis bullosa. Hailey will be remembered as a brave girl who was happy despite her life circumstances. She was an expert at multitasking, you would often find her watching her favorite 90's sitcoms like Friends, Family Matters, Full House and The Cosby Show while doing color by number on her tablet. She loved listening to music especially Meghan Trainor and Taylor Swift. Hailey loved spending time with her parents and siblings. She had a particularly special bond with her sister Tori whose presence always brightened her day.
She is preceded in death by her grandmother and namesake, Gloria Nichols; grandfather, Horace Nichols; great aunt and uncle, Richard and Betty Wallace; great-grandfather, Dean Hofmeister "Pap Pap"; great-grandparents, Mena and Ed Cunningham.
She is survived and will be greatly missed by her parents, Chad and Elizabeth Schollaert; siblings, Jackson Schollaert, Austin Schollaert, Lexi Schollaert, Toby Schollaert and Tori Schollaert; grandparents, Tom and Lonie Schollaert.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 24th from 4:00-6:00pm at Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church with a funeral service to follow. Private family graveside service will be held at Edgewood Cemetery.
