Betty Henderson Hambrick

Betty Henderson Hambrick – age 88, went to be with her Lord and Savior peacefully on November 17, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Betty was a member of Marbledale Baptist Church. She was a devoted military wife to the love of her life, Ray Hambrick, a devoted mother and grandmother, and one of 10 children. Family meant everything to her and she was always willing to host family gatherings.
Betty loved her church and had a close bond with her Sunday School ladies. She had always been a prayer warrior and loved studying God's word. Betty had a very giving heart and was always the first to help those in need.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Ray Hambrick; parents, John Henderson and Annie Cates Henderson; siblings, John Henderson, Jr., Eunice Henderson-Roberts, Frances Henderson Ledford, Dorcus Henderson Sanford, James Earl Henderson, George Edward Henderson, Diana Marie Henderson and Mary Neil Henderson.
She is survived by her daughter, Kim Hambrick Whittaker (Rick); grandson, Brandon Whittaker; granddaughter, Brittany Whittaker; sister, Patsy Henderson; sister-in-law, Carolyn Henderson; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Friday, November 21, 2025 at Bridges Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will follow at 7:00 PM, with Rev. Randy Troutman officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:45 PM on Saturday at Eastview Memorial Gardens for a 2:00 PM Graveside Service.
