Gloria A. Scott (nee Lamanteer), on December 29, 2025, of Mantua, formerly of Runnemede, age 84. Beloved wife of the late Danny Scott. Devoted mother of Gregory Gardiner, Kevin Gardiner (Patti), and Lisa Rebel, and the late James Gardiner Jr (surviving wife Jill)., and Melanie Gardiner. Loving grandmother of Kristie (Rich), Greg Jr. (Rachel), Paige (Anthony), Tara (Sebastian), Jenna (Zach), James III, Ryan, and the late Joey. Great grandmother of 7. Step-Mother of Tony (Andrea), Danny (Melody), Lori, Gina (the late Bill), and the late Todd. Dear sister of Rosemarie, Nora (the late Hal), Joan, and James (Nancy). Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving family.
Gloria was born on February 9, 1941, in Bridgeton, NJ, to James and Mary Lamanteer. She went on to marry her former husband James Gardiner and became a loving mother of 5. She was a licensed and talented hairdresser and cosmetologist for decades, later becoming the owner and operator of Family Hair Care in Runnemede. After her career, Gloria retired and took great pride in being a full time "Nana." Her grandchildren were her whole world and she cherished all the time she got to spend with her family. She loved to feed everyone, especially in the summertime, with her famous crab and pasta feasts. She also loved her trips to the casino. She will be greatly missed.
There will be a visitation on Monday, from 10am-11am, at Gardner Funeral Home - Runnemede. A memorial service will follow at 11am. Interment of cremated remains, Bethel Cemetery, Hurffville.
