Gloria C. Soldo

Gloria C. Soldo, age 92, of Lincroft, NJ, passed away February 2, 2025. She was born May 24, 1932 to parents Anthony Codispoti and Teresa Piroso in Sant Andrea, Calabria Italy.
She moved to Red Bank in 1935. Gloria graduated from Red Bank high school, Red Bank, NJ. She married Frank P. Soldo Jr. in 1955 and celebrated 65 years of marriage. Gloria, as well as being a cherishing mother of two boys, worked as a legal secretary. She was devoted to the Roman Catholic Church and was active in St. Catharine's Church of Holmdel, providing parishioners donuts and warm coffee each month.
Gloria enjoyed her days canning tomatoes with her mother, shopping, and doting on her 3 grandsons. Gloria was an extremely social person who always strived to look her best.
Gloria is survived by her sister Victoria Ciambrone, son Paul along with his three grandsons, Tyler, Davis, Logan and daughter in law Danielle. She was predeceased by her husband Frank P. Soldo Jr, first son Frank P Soldo III, and brother Nicholas. She also leaves numerous nephews and nieces. She will be dearly missed by all.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 4th from 4-7 pm at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St, Red Bank, NJ 07701. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 5th at 9:15 am St. Catharine's Church, 108 Middletown Rd, Holmdel, NJ 07733. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Middletown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Church of St. Catharine in memory of Gloria.
