Gloria Rose (nee Ferlise) Turba, 92, of Clifton passed away peacefully in the care of her family on January 21, 2022.
Born and raised in Passaic, Mrs. Turba had resided in Clifton for the past sixty years. Prior to retirement, she had been employed as a Catholic School Secretary with St. Anthony of Padua School in Passaic. She was a faithful parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua RC Church in Passaic and was a loyal member of the Women's Auxiliary and a former Chaplain of American Legion Post 347 in Clifton.
Mrs. Turba was predeceased by her loved and missed husband Walter John Turba, Sr. on November 4th, 2021 and by her dear parents, Michael and Palma (nee Salatine) Ferlise.
She is survived by her two devoted sons: Walter John Turba, Jr. and his wife, Joan, of Clifton and Glenn Turba and his wife, Diana, of Tuckerton; two dear sisters: Francine Ferlise of Clifton and Arline Mastria of Hasbrouck Heights; three cherished grandchildren: Gary Turba and his girlfriend Samantha, John Turba and his wife Danielle and Brianna Iannacone and her husband, David; and by three adored great-grandchildren: Deanna Turba, Anthony Iannacone and Giavanna Rose Turba.
Visiting will be Sunday from 2-6pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral Monday 10:30am at the funeral home with interment to follow at St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org), 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
