Gloria Whan Obituary
Gloria (Glo) Dawn Whan, 97, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2024 at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility in Bellaire, MI. She was born in Detroit on September 6, 1926.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents Pauline and Robert Kerr, husband Robert Whan, and sister Janet Watkins.
She is survived by daughters Linda L. Whan of California, Barbara (Raina) J. Whan of New York, one granddaughter Anjali Kessler of Oregon, good friend for many years Sharon (Tom) Char Frey of Bellaire and Northville, MI.
Gloria spent most of her life in the Metro Detroit area, working for Ford Motor Company. She was a deeply spiritual, kind, and generous person. She was a world traveler and enjoyed her many trips all over the world.
The family would like to thank the many people who helped Gloria in her final years including the staff at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility.
