Gloria G. Williams, passed away on October 15, 2024.
Our loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, Gloria Beatrice Williams (Gallizia, age 69, o Kansas City, Missouri, was called home to be with our Lord on October 15, 2024. Gloria was born on October 29, 1955 in Liberia, Monrovia to parents Maria Dennis-Gallizia and John Gallizia.
As a young woman growing up in Liberia, she dreamt of life for her family in America, and turned those dreams into reality through hard work and sacrifice. After immigrating to the United States with her children she worked hard and devoted her life to her children to provided then opportunities she was not afforded. Gloria was loving, fearless, magnetic, smart, passionate, independent, funny, and brave. While her loss has sent sadness and disbelief throughout the family, her legacy will live on inside of us.
Gloria is survived by her children, George Kpagoi Jr.; Jossie Gallizia (Sadie'); Jennifer Gallizia (Stephen); grandchildren, Kaielle, K'Aulani; Jameir; Destiny; Sammie; Jossie Jr; Teresiah; Tauryannah; Amani; and Stephen; her brother and sister, Franco; and Vera Gallizia; her nephew, Elijah; and many friends; and family members who loved her. Gloria was predeceased by her son, Sam Gallizia; and her parents.
Funeral Services was held on Tuesday October 29, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Lawernce A. Jones & Sons 1800 East Linwood Blvd. KCMO 64109. Interment: Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation: was held from 10-11:00 A.M. at the Chapel. Arrangements entrusted to Lawrence A. Jones & Sons Funeral Chapels. Condolence may be shared on our website lawrenceajones.com.
