July 18, 1945 - March 26, 2026
Glyn Williams, a longtime resident of Schertz, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2026, at the age of 80.
Born in Brentford, Middlesex, England, Glyn graduated from Samuel Clemens High School in 1963 and went on to serve 28 years in the United States Air Force, retiring at Randolph Air Force Base. After his military service, he remained deeply involved in the community, serving on the Schertz City Council.
Glyn was a devoted husband to Carol Williams for 59 years and a proud father to David and Richard. He was also a cherished grandfather to four grandchildren and great-grandfather to one great-grandson.
He was a lifelong fan of Chelsea F.C. and enjoyed the companionship of his beloved King Charles Spaniel, Benji.
Glyn will be remembered for his service, his leadership, and his deep love for his family and community.
