Godfrey Vincent "Ian" Lastique

Godfrey V. "Ian" Lastique, 79, of Mount Laurel, New Jersey, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on November 21, 2025.

Born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago to the late Joseph and Phyllis (née Deleon) Lastique, Ian came to the United States in the 1970s. He was a resident of Mount Laurel for the past eight years and previously lived in Delanco. Ian was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Moorestown. Prior to retiring in 2020, he worked as an electrician for Aluminum Shapes in Pennsauken.

A loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Ian treasured every moment spent with his family. He had a deep love for sports and an incredible gift for making people laugh. His warmth, humor, and joyful spirit brightened every room he entered, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Beloved husband of 36 years to Deborah R. (née Hinds); devoted father of Marsha (Dennis) Asher, Charisse (Adam) Markowitz, Chad (Erin) Hinds, Cher (Jim) Capparelli, and Chelsea (Walter) Dunn; cherished grandfather of Zachary, Micaela, Gianna, Caiden, Jack, Luca, Jameson, and Eva. Ian is also survived by his seven siblings, who will carry his memory in their hearts.

Family and friends are invited to attend Ian's visitation on Friday, December 5, 2025, from 9:00–10:00 AM at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, New Jersey 08054, where the Memorial Service will follow at 10:00 AM.
