Goodman Terry Parks "Big Worm" passed away February 26, 2023, in his home at the age of 62 years. Terry was born on July 27, 1960 the son of Jewel and Freddie Parks in Jackson, Tennessee.
Later he resided in Benton Harbor, MI, then moved to Saginaw, MI in 1994. He worked at Smokey's Bar (Benton Harbor, MI), Limelight Club (Saginaw, MI), Gohm Insurance Restoration (Saginaw, MI), but overall was a true entrepreneur. Terry enjoyed fishing, BBQing, going to church, and hanging with family and friends. He was known for being funny, loving, having a big heart and helping everyone.
Terry leaves to cherish his memory his five sons, Terry Parks Jr, Clarence Colvin, Lecoy Williams, Tre Parks and Terrance Parks; five daughters, Geanette Randolph, Ruth Richardson, Angelica Yarbrough, Shakira Johnson, and Alisha Parks; four step-children, Dukemu Jackson, Delisa Jackson, Dawon Jackson and Daresse Jackson. He is also survived by his brothers, Freddy and Larry (Bobbie) Parks; sisters, Martha Ann Parks, Betty Bell Parks and Martha Parks; thirty-nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends including special friends, Debbie Jackson, Mrs. Smith, Scott, Ms. Jackson, Mr. Morris and Randell Dyson.
Terry preceded in death by his parents, Jewel and Freddie Parks; sisters, Donna Parks, Mary Lou B., Drucilla Parks, Doris Dotson and Ethel Mae Burton; two brothers, Cecil Parks and T.L. Dotson; and his niece, Julia Parks.
The family of Goodman Parks wishes to express a special thanks to: Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, relatives and friends for their kind expressions of concern and heartfelt sympathy during bereavement. May God bless each of you. Thank you!
Visitation will take place from 2:00-6:00 PM, Friday, March 10, 2023 at Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 North Jefferson Avenue, Saginaw, Michigan 48607.
