Passed away on September 22, 2025, at the age of 80 years. Bob was born on July 31, 1945, in Saginaw County to the late Ellsworth and Marie (Heger) Alsgaard. He graduated from Saginaw High School, class of 1963. Bob married Patricia Burditt in 1963 and together had two children. He worked in production and skilled trades at Saginaw Steering Gear, retiring after 33 years.
Bob enjoyed watching racing, especially NASCAR. He loved sports of all kinds and enjoyed golfing, bowling and watching his favorite teams: the Michigan State Spartans and Detroit Lions. Bob's friendly personality allowed him to easily talk with anyone; he never met a stranger.
Surviving are two children: Robert (Alice Ann) Alsgaard Jr., and Robin Andrews; five grandchildren: Kari, Joseph, Cody, Holly, and Kelly; eight great-grandchildren: Addison, Hayden, Aspen, Mila, Hunter, Holden, Sylphrena, and Astrid; siblings: Patricia (Verle) Wiita, Michael (Jane) Alsgaard, Cheryl (Mike) Paolercio, John Alsgaard, and Dotti (Tony) Miller; friend and mother of his children, Patricia Martini, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Honoring Bob's wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Online condolences can be made at https://www.casefuneralhome.com/.
