Janice F. Halm

Saginaw Twp., Michigan

Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at HealthSource in Saginaw, Michigan at the age of 93. The daughter of the late Edward and Gladys (Wilson) Krauss was born on December 28, 1931 in Saginaw, Michigan. Janice graduated from Arthur Hill High School in 1949. She married her husband, James Halm on October 6, 1951 and was grateful to have spent 66 years of blissful marriage before his passing on May 21, 2018. Janice took great pride in raising her children but also found the time to own and operate Halm's Kozy Korner. A devout Christian, Janice was a longtime member of Resurrection Lutheran Church. She enjoyed attending meetings with her lady's club, but most of all she appreciated spending time with her family creating memories that would last far beyond a lifetime.

Surviving to cherish the memory of Janice are two sons, Gary (Sheila) Halm, Freeland; Thomas (Jean) Halm, Williamston; seven grandchildren, Jeff Halm, Heather Halm, Lauren (Cory) Wormmeester, Erica (Grant) Kerney, Justin Halm, Joshua Halm, and Ashley (Tyler) Halm-Hendershot; 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers-in-law, Jerry (Loretta) Halm and Dale (Sandy) Halm; several nieces, nephews and dear friend, Carol Lovell. Janice is reunited with and lovingly embraced by her two sons, Daniel Halm and Robert Halm.

Funeral Service will take place at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty). Pastor Nancy Scott will officiate. Private interment will take place in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit at the funeral home where the family will be present on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those wishing to make a charitable contribution in honor of Janice's life may consider memorials to Resurrection Lutheran Church.
