Patricia R. "Pat" Rummler

Beloved sister, aunt and dear friend passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025 at MyMichigan Saginaw following a brief illness. Age 79 years. The daughter of the late Robert and Mary (Emery) Likam, Pat was born on July 20, 1946 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Paul Rummler in 1975. He predeceased her on October 15, 2008. Pat graduated from Arthur Hill High School Class of 1964. She then went on and earned her Master's Degree from Western Michigan University. For 35 years, Pat was a math teacher at John Glenn High School in Bangor Township. She was a faithful member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church and spent countless hours volunteering on several committees and projects. Pat was a member of Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI), Michigan Education Association, Michigan Association of Retired School Personnel, Saginaw County Association of Retired School Personnel. She was a loyal supporter of Saginaw Bay Symphony Orchestra, Temple Theatre, Saginaw Choral Society and Broadway in Saginaw. Pat enjoyed teaching and folding origami at local assisted living facilities and was a lifelong Detroit Tigers fan.
Surviving to cherish her memory are two sisters, Bonnie Goodman, Traverse City; Jane (Curtis) McClure, Birch Run; her nieces and nephews, Shane Buckey, Jon Buckey, Michelle (Mikailu) Sorie, Amy Yakich; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Eliana and Nathaniel Sorie, Emily and Chase Yakich; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, James and Kimberly Rummler; many dear friends. Pat was preceded in death by her sister, Carol Likam; her step-children, Diane Rummler Morse and Timothy Rummler; her brother-in-law, Butch Goodman; her nephew, Matthew Yakich.
Funeral Service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty). Rev. Fr. Dale Orlik will officiate. Private interment will take place in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home where the family will be present on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
