Harvey Allen Neuenfeldt, age 76 of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away at his home on September 21, 2025.
Harvey was born on February 25, 1949, in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Robert Roland Neuenfeldt and Betty Ann (Diener) Neuenfeldt. He led a life that was quiet and simple, marked by a steadfast dedication to his work and a profound love for his family.
Harvey graduated from Hemlock High School in 1967. He enjoyed a long career, embracing the challenges and rewards of farming. He liked nature, always finding joy in fishing, tending to his beloved garden, riding his bicycle, visiting with friends, and cheering on MSU and the Tigers.
He was the loving father of five children: Becky (Scott) Mohler, Tom Neuenfeldt, Cheryl (Ryan) Warner, Sarah Neuenfeldt, and Danny (Kara) Neuenfeldt. He leaves to cherish his memory eleven grandchildren: Desmond, Reuben, Aria, Nevaeha, August, Sawyer, Owen, Elizabeth, Henry, Abigail, Penelope, and another grandchild arriving soon. He is also survived by his siblings Gwen Diebel and Barry Neuenfeldt; and Suzanne Catenacci.
Harvey is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Betty Neuenfeldt, and his siblings Richard Neuenfeldt and Kathy Duma.
In honor if Harvey’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Zion Lutheran Church, 17927 Dice Rd, Hemlock, MI 48626, with Rev. Larry Warsinski officiating the service. Friends may visit with the family from 10 a.m. until time of the service on Saturday. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to Zion Lutheran Church or to the family.
