Amy Duel passed away on September 26, 2025. Amy was born in Mount Clemens, Michigan. She was a proud graduate of the Class of 1994. Amy brought joy, laughter, and love to everyone who knew her.

Amy is survived by her beloved husband, Michael McClain; children, Kayley and Nick (Ashleigh) Duel, Myeishia and Brenea Jackson; parents, Dave and Joyce Duel; siblings, Glen, Nichole, Melanie (Jason), Joanne (Cobain), Shannon, Mary, Dave (Amanda) Kim and Erica; grandchildren, Kayden, Jayda, Myla, Trevionna, Antionette, Matthias, Elianah, Chloe, Micha and Olivia; nieces and nephews, Serina, Brianna, Lindsay, Cortney Jr, Zach, Savannah, Dajah, Camren, Collin, Jovi, Addie, Dylan, Drake, Bradley, Sam, and Jaxson, great nieces and nephews, Naomi, Isabella, Tj, Ayden, Londyn, Malayah; a very dear friend, Katrine; two very special aunts, Bev, Jo, and two special uncles, Bob and Uncle Bill.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Marie Elaina Duel, her sister Tanya Visnaw, her husband Todd Peterson and her grandson Robert Jr.

Amy will be remembered for her feisty spirit, her hilarious sense of humor, her blunt honesty, and the way she made everyone feel special. She loved classic 80s rock and was known as the “Queen of Rock”. She adored her family and lived unapologetically. Her energy, love, and fearless personality will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
