Gordan Edward Sharpe

WILLIAMSFIELD-Gordan Edward "Bud" Sharpe, age 70, passed away on Friday, October 17, 2025. Born on February 22, 1955, in Ashtabula, Ohio, he was the son of the late Gordan and Rosemarie (Hladek) Sharpe.
A longtime resident of Williamsfield, Gordan was a graduate of Ashtabula High School, after which he dedicated over 48 years of service as a mill operator for Grand River Rubber & Plastics. On September 15, 1979, Gordan married his beloved wife, Karen Elizabeth Boarder. At the time of her passing in 2016, they had been married for 36 years.
An avid Cleveland Browns fan, game days were always a special occasion in the Sharpe household. He also took great pride in his role as an Air Force dad, supporting and celebrating the achievements of his children with immense pride. An outdoorsman at heart, Gordan enjoyed fishing. His love for animals sometimes got him into trouble when he couldn't say "No" to Kay who was always bringing home another cat. Gordan enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and his 5:00am "good morning" texts will be deeply missed.
Left to cherish is memory are his two sons, Gordan E. "Buddy" Sharpe of Williamsfield, Ohio and Richard T. "Ric" (Ashley) Sharpe of Tumwater, Washington; four grandchildren, Mariah, Aiden, Brody and Cora; three sisters, Mitzie Orth, Bunny Simpson, and Darlene Rohm; two brothers, Joe Sharpe of Ashtabula and John Sharpe of Williamsfield as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Gordan is proceeded in death by his loving wife, Karen "Kay" Sharpe and his infant daughter, Rosemarie Kay Sharpe.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect Street, Andover, OH 44003, from 1:00PM to 2:00PM. Family and friends are welcome to gather at the Williamsfield Community Center at 2:30PM for a time of food and fellowship.
