Gordon Bechtel Obituary
He was born April 18, 1945 in Port Huron, MI to the late Gordon Sr and Lorene (Richardson) Bechtel.
Gordon graduated from Cros-Lex High School in 1963. In his early years, he was a 4H leader in woodworking and involved with the FFA. Gordon farmed in the Yale area most of his life and also worked for Yale Industries. He loved country music and was a big motorcycle enthusiast. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Gordon is survived by his children Karen (Donald) Pensyl, Robert (Gail) Bechtel, Gordon III (Shelly) Bechtel, James (Natalie) Bechtel and Mark (Renee) Bechtel; grandchildren Johnathon, Carrie, Joshua, Shannon, Sarah, Elijah, Skylar, Elyse and Gordy IV; great grandchildren Brayden and Wesley; brother Gerald (Dennis) Bechtel and sisters Janet Puchlak-Smith and Judith Walker.
Gordon is predeceased by his brother in law Dennis Moseman.
The family honors the memory of Gordon and invites you to attend the visitation on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 6:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Yale, MI.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to "Wishes of the Family".
