Gordon was born on Tuesday, August 29, 1944, in Ponca City,OK, to Raymond Custer and Joan (Pappan) Bickel. He was a US Army veteran, serving from 1963-1969. He enjoyed watching football, old TV shows, going to the casino, and was an avid coin collector. He also loved fixing things.
Gordon is survived by: his wife, Teri of the home; children, Mark Bickel, and Shannon Taylor, Bridgette Volz, Michele Benton and husband, Jim; and Courtney Altman; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister Nina Pruett and husband, Bill. He is preceded in death by: his parents; brother, Ronnie Bickel; and son-in-law, Brandon Altman.
